Sister Mairead Quigley

Sister Mairead Quigley is a Roman Catholic Sister, belonging to the Society of the Sacred Heart, an international congregation.involved in education in the widest sense. She has worked in Ireland, Scotland,Wales, USA, France and finally in England. For the last five years she has been Chaplain to both Sarum College and Stets. She is pastoral tutor on the Sarum M A in Spirituality and is also involved in Retreat Work, Spiritual Direction and Supervision. For as long as he can remember she has had a passionate interest in Ecumenism, even though as a child she did not know such a word existed! She loves books, poetry, theatre and film and is never happier than when in the country or near water. For many years she was involved with The Irish Girl Guide movement working with all ages and adult training which was great fun, especially camping and hiking.

Sonia Woolley

Sonia Woolley is Tutor in Voice and Presentation Skills. She has many years experience of theological student training, both for STETS and in Salisbury & Wells Theological College. She is a professional actress, a member of the Voice Care Network (UK), a tutor for The College of Preachers and Sarum Fellow in Voice & Word. Her leisure interests also involve voice in different forms – she sings in the Salisbury Musical Society, and enjoys giving poetry readings and visiting the theatre. Her great indulgence (apart from chocolate!) is taking as many short break holidays as possible, and spending at least two weeks each year by the sea in Suffolk.

 

 

Jackie Lowe

Jackie Lowe

As an associate member of staff Jackie Lowe offers pastoral supervision for United Reformed Students currently training with STETS, liaison with the United Reformed Church, and actively contributes to STETS as a representative of the Reformed tradition. Jackie is a United Reformed Church minister, working ecumenically in the Chalke Valley, and as a Team Minister in the Salisbury and Broad Chalke Pastorate. She trained at STETS (23/96) and has continued her involvement through the Rural Church and Community weekends which are regularly hosted by the Chalke Valley.

 

 

Roger Hutchings

Roger Hutchings

As an associate member of staff, Roger Hutchings offers pastoral supervision for one of the STETS’ & Co groups. Roger trained as a teacher before ministerial training at Wesley College and Bristol University.  He was Methodist Chaplain to the University of Liverpool, then National Officer of the ecumenical group ONE for Christian Renewal.  After a period in the Barnsley circuit, he joined the BBC Religious Broadcasting Department in Manchester, later moving to Birmingham and to London, where he was in charge of Songs of Praise.  He left the BBC and as a freelance producer was responsible for a series of multi-faith magazine programmes for ITV, before taking charge of the ITV Morning Worship series.  In 2006, as his broadcasting work diminished, he became a circuit minister in Richmond and Hounslow until 2008, when he ‘retired’ and moved to Salisbury.  His hobbies include music (with the organ his favourite instrument), art (watercolour) and travel – he’s been motorhoming around Europe during the past couple of years.

 

Maggie Guillebaud

As an associate member of staff, Maggie Guillebaud offers pastoral supervision for one of the STETS’ & Co groups.  Maggie Guillebaud is an Anglican priest who joins us after five years working at Salisbury Cathedral. Before becoming ordained she had a varied career in public service, including chairing an NHS Trust, being a member of the Arts Council of England, where she chaired Education and Training, chairing South West Arts, the regional arm for the South West of the Arts Council, being a J.P., and holding numerous other public offices. In 1999 she was awarded an honorary M.A. by UWE for services to education and the arts. She and her husband have a home in Italy near Assisi, where she occasionally helps out at the Anglican chaplaincy, and she has a licence to officiate in the diocese of Europe. She is diocesan Convenor for Affirming Catholicism, and an observer on the board of the Anglican Lutheran Society. She is a Danish speaker, and will be working on ecumenical matters at Sarum. Her leisure interests include the arts, she is a board member of the Salisbury International Arts Festival, and travel. She has five grandchildren and a patient husband.
