Sharon Garrick has worked for STETS since 2001 as an Academic Secretary. Now working for three days a week Sharon has the role of looking after the tutors and training ministers who work with the STETS students.
Leisure Interests
For the past twenty five years patchwork and quilting has been a major part of Sharon’s life. Sharon teaches classes across the south of England and has also been invited to teach in Scotland and Spain. Working with the Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum she has been instrumental in bringing exhibitions of Patchwork and allied needlecrafts to Salisbury.
Sharon writes a regular page in the Southern Star, quilting newsletter; and contributes articles to Popular Patchwork, Patchwork and Quilting and Creative Crafts magazines. She has also produced a project for The Quilting Web, an on-line magazine. Examples of her work can be found on her web site www.sharongarrick.co.uk
Sharon has also been researching her family history for the past three years.
