Loving God, your Son Jesus held fast to your vision of his purpose, yet he forgave his friends who showed weakness and entrusted them with great things. We pray for those whose great vision and determined ambition give no ground to the needs of others: their colleagues, their staff, their competitors, their families. We hold in our minds the greedy and the ruthless, the bullying and the exploitative. By your spirit enable them to understand the damage they do, and direct their energies in ways that will bring good to all.
