The restless and unsettled

We remember before you, Lord, people who feel jaded and undervalued in their work, who are bored or exhausted. Grant them a secure sense of their own worth in your sight. Quietly speak with them of peace and contentment. Renew their spirits, so that they are set free to claim their worth.

We remember especially people who find it hard to live with their work, but for financial reasons cannot live without their work. We pray for any who feel that change has made irrelevant the skills and abilities they originally brought to their work, who may feel that they themselves have become obstacles to progress because they can no longer adapt.
