About our logo

The image seeks to depict life coming from a centre and flowing out in three dimensions.

The STETS logo

The number 'three' is a resonant number for STETS. We are three denominations working together to provide education, training and formation for ministry.

Our course involves three structures of tutor-supported distance learning, supervised practical experience and centre-based training and it develops in a spiralling fashion that encompasses study in scripture, theology and the church's mission.

All the work of STETS aims to serve the mission of the trinitarian God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the world. The well-spring of this work is the self-giving love of God expressed most fully in the cross of Christ, depicted as the centre and source of the image's energetic movement outwards.
