Introducing STETS

Sarum College, Cathedral Close, SalisburySTETS delivers initial ministerial training for the Church of England, Methodist Church and (by special arrangement) some other churches in the southern region of England.

Its students, currently numbering about 120, are drawn from an extensive region, stretching from East Somerset to East Sussex and from the M4 corridor to the coast.

STETS trains students for stipendiary, as well as non-stipendiary, ministry. Its university-validated programmes are delivered on a part-time, non-residential, basis, using distance-learning materials. The course normally lasts three years, during which students study for either a university diploma or degree (BA or MA), depending on their previous educational background and life experience, which may be considerable.

STETS is housed in the beautiful surroundings of Sarum College, Salisbury.
