Utilities

Loving Father, our lives are woven into a web of activities and services without which our lives would change utterly. Fresh, clean water is brought to our homes. Gas and electricity are available at a touch. Waste and rubbish are disposed of. We can talk with anyone in the world by picking up a telephone. Entertainment, news and information are presented to us daily, with little effort on our part. We pray for those involved in bringing us these good things. Grant us wisdom and discernment in their use, so that we enhance our own lives and those of others, and safeguard the world we live in.
