Hospitals

We remember before you, Lord, those who work in hospitals: Consultants and Junior Clinical Staff; Physicians, Surgeons and Anaesthetists. We remember those who are on call for long periods; may they be sustained through exhaustion to give of their best when crisis comes. We hold in care before you those who pioneer new procedures and treatments.

We pray for Nursing and Ancillary staff: Ambulance and Paramedical Services, Radiographers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nutritionists, Mental Health services. We pray too for non-medical staff: managers, porters, cleaners, transport volunteers and caterers. Grant to all joy in the service they give. Through your Spirit may we all affirm the service they give.
