Health and Welfare

We thank you Lord for the gift of good health. We pray for those who suffer from illnesses, and for those who care for them: Primary Care Services, GPs and their practice staff, alternative therapists, Social Workers. Grant them energy to see them through each day, giving each patient the same careful attention. Protect them from all temptation to haste in their dealings with patients. In their home and family lives may they use time lovingly. We pray for those involved in Fitness Centres and sports clubs, advising and enabling people to enjoy health and vigour.
